Professional Surgical Insight
When diagnosing the Series 90 Hydrostatic System (Section 19) on the TR combines, always verify that the motor case pressure does not exceed 75 psi (5.2 bar) cold or 40 psi (2.8 bar) continuous. If the pressure limiter engages prematurely, verify the multi-function valves, which are strictly calibrated to destroke the servos at 5510 psi (380 bar). For the Terrain Tracer and Reel Cylinders (Section 24), you must correctly identify whether the combine uses Style 1 (Cessna) or Style 2 (New Holland) cylinders before teardown, as their internal seal configurations are completely different. When servicing the Front Drum (Section 6), ensure the support arm shims are retained and reinstalled on the exact same side to prevent feeder chain tracking failures.
